one simple wish 2022/23 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS OPENING SOON
March 23rd is the BIG day! One Simple Wish and our incredible wish granters are proud to be announcing the launch of our second annual scholarship awards to support individuals impacted by foster care. The scholarship fund is intended to provide a life-changing resource for individuals who are on their journey to higher education, at any stage of life.
Emerging Leaders Fellowship program
We are excited to announce the launch of a new initiative being supported by the Redlich Horwitz Foundation (RHF). The RHF Emerging Leaders Fellowship seeks to support young adults who have experienced the foster care system by helping them thrive in the workplace, develop important professional skills that can lead to greater earning potential, build a network of peers and feel empowered to control their path towards success in their chosen career.
Benefits:
During this one-year fellowship, fellows will receive the following benefits:
Fellows who complete the program will receive a Certificate of Completion that can be added to resumes, distinguishing them from other candidates when applying for another job.
Fellows will participate in bi-weekly professional development workshops led by credible messengers and experts. Topics will include goal setting, managing up, code switching, time management, effective communication and owning your own performance.
Fellows will receive monthly 1:1 professional career and empowerment coaching.
Fellows will participate in monthly Coaching Circles with other RHF Fellows where they are able to problem-solve, share, celebrate and support one another.
Fellows will participate in quarterly virtual networking events with other FHF Fellows.
